‘Book Art’ crazy amazingness! Show some love to Mr. Isaac Salazar.

Fist Stop: Fairchild Topical Garden for the Will Ryman installation. Fiberglass works displayed in the water and throughout the botanical garden. My favorite were the chairs. I also stopped by the Yoko Ono Wish Tree. All of the wishes will eventually be housed in the Imagine Peace Tower in Iceland. Of course, mine will be there too!
How great would this be? #winecellar
The most amazing wine cellar ever. And these photos are amazing.

Last weekend was the Redbull World Series of Cliff Diving. A platform was built off the top of the Institute of Contemporary Art, making the dive an 89 foot drop into the Boston Harbor. This was the first time on the East coast for the tour, and the urban setting was unreal. We all know how much I love this place, so watching people jump off the top was surreal. I took these from inside the viewing gallery that looks over the water, but check out this video for an outside perspective.
Because I bought tickets to see Watch The Throne… and I’m very excited. Otis- Kanye and Jay-Z.
Festival photos from Governors Ball. Airspace’s Balloon Chain was so incredible to see in person. I was lucky enough to be backstage for People Under the Stairs and in the pit for Pretty Lights. Crazy light show.

Anish Kapoor. See for yourself, but his work is pretty unbelievable. I think it is hard to see his work in photos and not in person, because they really are monumental in size. I have had the privilege of seeing more than 4 of his works, and they tend to challenge you to walk around them, get low, check out different angles… etc. Kind of awesome. “Leviathan” is in Paris, so I will only be able to see it from these photos, but check out this article from Artinfo. Made up of 3 spheres, inflatable and deep red on the inside, the work is representative of the biblical monster from the ocean. I haven’t seen this in person but I imagine it’s pretty awe-inspiring. No matter what anyone says, I always get excited and mesmerized by his work, but decide for yourself! Another reason why I wish I could see this is the setting! I love the way the Grand Palais is so gorgeous and bright. Oh yeah, did I mention Kapoor dedicated this work to Ai Wei Wei?

If you haven’t bought a ticket to this music festival… you should. Not only do I love music festivals, but I also love start-ups and that’s exactly what this is. A start-up music festival! Three guys with major music festival experience, Tom Russell, Jordan Wolowitz, and Yoni Reisman, are the brains behind this inaugural event. This is not your typical music festival. They are catering to the fans with what they know about how a festival works. The fact that at a typical festival you have to race from place to place trying to catch acts is a huge concern for many. Governors Ball will have NO OVERLAPPING SETS. They are also selecting craft beers, kick-ass wine, and of course food trucks to be on hand to provide unique foodie experiences for everyone, on top of the amazing lineup they have. Oh, also, there will be art installations! Woo! But really, this is going to be sick. I’m going and I’m trying to bring a bus of people from Boston. Literally, a bus full. Let’s do it! Follow them on Twitter @GovBallNYC too! JUNE 18th. BE THERE.
Let me break down this lineup for you.
